The geocache is not at the posted coordinates. The coordinates are the location of the first clue. Once you arrive, you will have to follow the following steps to get the prize and coordinates will no longer be used.
1. You need to find a two digit number on Walnut Street at the posted coordinates. The numbers are not hidden and are in gold on a black background..
2. You need to find another two digit number on Thorn Street in the block between Broad St and Walnut St. They are the same style as the numbers from step number one. Now that you have seen the numbers on Walnut, you should have an easy time finding the rest on Thorn. (Yes, it has a decimal point!)
3. Put the numbers together and take it to the library on the corner of Thorn Street and Broad Street, during the hours of operation and find yourself something to read!
The library hours are: Mon-Thurs 9AM - 9PM, Fri 9AM - 6PM, Sat 9AM - 5PM, Sun 1PM - 5PM
There is a stamp of a wise old owl. Bring your letterboxing stamp book to collect it. (Not mandatory) The stamp is not swag so please leave it in place.
Many thanks to the reference staff for participating in this cache as well as supplying the really cool container! Remember that you are in a library so be quiet and respecful of the staff and patrons. Our library is one of our most celebrated public resources in the town. We love the staff and facilities. I hope you will like them too!
