An easy geocache puzzle to enjoy while visiting the Astoria Column.
The cache is
not at the posted coordinates. Please solve the puzzle below to find the
actual cache location.
Admission to the Column is free, but there is a $5 parking fee.
Solving the puzzle does not require climbing the Column, but if you are
up for it, the view is fantastic! A bit of hill climbing is required for
the cache, however.
Four of the following seven photos
were taken near the Astoria Column. The other three were not. To
solve the puzzle, walk around the plaza area and watch for the photo sites.
When you have identified which four
photos were taken at the Column, use the numbers following the photos, in the
order in which they are listed, to complete the coordinates of the cache:
