Spending the afternoon in the Clyde, KS, area searching for new geocache hides. Heading home and passed by this cemetery and another. Knowing that there are not any caches hidden in them, decided to place a cache.
Nothing fancy here. Container that you will be searching for is a little larger/fatter than an adult human's thumb. May be a quick find for some, and maybe harder for others. Sould be a quick enough find.
In order to get to this cemetery, probably the easiest route would be to travel KS Hwy 9 between the towns of Clyde/Concordia, KS. When come to intersection with 210 Road, turn and travel south. 210 Road is a hard-top road. Travel until reach intersection with Lark Road. Lark Road is a well maintained gravel road, mostly. Travel east on Lark Road until it reaches the intersection with 220 Road. Turn south onto 220 Road, which will be a well maintained gravel road. IF turn north, cannot help you for that will be nasty!! Travel until reach cemetery, which will be on west side of road.
OR continue south on 210 Road until come to intersection with Key Road. Turn east onto Key Road, which will be well maintained gravel. Travel on Key Road until reach intersection with 220 Road. Turn north and cemetery will be on west side of road.
OR travel north on 210 Road from the small town of Aurora, KS, and make the turns at the appropriate loacations as mentioned above.
NOTE: Lark, Key, and 220 Road(s) may be adventurous during inclement weather even though they are well maintained gravel roads. Road(s) are well maintained gravel, but may pose a problem in inclement weather. These are the routes I used/scouted out and seemed safe to me.
NOTE NOTE: This cemetery is out in the boonies, so plan accordingly.
