Geocache Description:

Caching Down in Swedentown

When the City of Whitehall was founded, this area was chosen by the Swedish to settle and became known as Swedentown.  The immigrants built this church in 1872 and services were held in Swedish up until the 1930's.  To this day, we still hold a Swedish Smorgasbord every year.  It is also home to the White Lake Food Pantry.  This is my church, so I have permission to place this cache here.

This cache is a medium-sized container with plenty of swag.  There is a hand-hammered angel FTF tag for the taking as well as a special dragonfly wall hanging made by a member of the church.  There is a small pencil for signing the log.
