Featuring upland maple forest and towering white pines, the 150 acre Redmond Tract offers year ‘round hiking and skiing opportunities. As a “working forest”, the Redmond Tract provides sustainable harvests of wood products while providing prime fish and wildlife habitat.
Located just north of the scenic village of Auburn, the Redmond Tract, a County forest, is just off the Donnybrook Line on Westfield Road.
At the time of placing this hide, there are only a few recognized hiking trails in Huron County that do not have a cache. My mission is to change that. I am placing 2 on this trail to encourage hiking the entire trail.
You will need to bring a writing instrument. Please be sure to put the cap back on tight to keep the log dry. Please roll the log back into its cup. Try to leave everything as you found it.
