Feel free to go for FTF because E. Mcormick has "left the building" locally, as Elvis might say. She was an east Dallas geocacher we more seasoned geocachers from these parts all know and enjoyed. She placed a number of caches around Royse City honoring her son, who met an untimely and tragic death that she documented in quite a few caches in this area. I can't blame her for moving away from the area to try and leave a bit of the intimacy of this story behind her. I know she will always cherish her time with her son and remember him fondly as she did in all her caches here that often featured photos of him. I communicated with her recently when I replaced one of her caches. I couldn't help myself but to revive a cache very close to a site where she once hid one for her son. I've always felt a bit different finding one of her dedication caches. Hopefully you enjoy this local geocaching history and this one is just good fun now. If you remember our friend, feel free to post one of your memories for all of us to enjoy and reminisce. Best of luck!
