Fudgy Fest celebrates my favourite cacher: el_fudgeeo!
El_fudgeeo started this as a way to give back to the caching community for all the caches that have been hidden in and around Saskatoon. So thanks - even for the ones I can't find. These caches get published on one special day of the year - can you guess what makes it special?
So many of my caches seem to have some sort of food theme for some reason, so when I saw the "Stew Uzelman Pedway", I knew I needed a cache here.
The pedway is pretty cool - its suspended between the 2 bridge laneways. Its a heavily used walking / biking path that is part of the Meewasin Valley trail network. It's much easier to cross than the Train Bridge as I don't have to lug the bike up all those stairs, but it does add a few more km to the bike ride to the office if I go this way - but its worth it!
The co-ordinates might be a little screwy here since its under the bridge, so the hint is the name.
