Geocache Description:

The St. Francis De Paula Church has been around historically for over a century! What you're looking for is a magnetic BLACK nano that is hidden around (or should I say behind?) the statue dedicated to Padre Juan Zavala. I've hidden it on (or should I say underneath) something matching the same exact color. Good luck and Happy Caching!

Francis De Paula Parish is one of the oldest in south Texas. San Diego had been settled in the 1840s, but it was only after the population began to increase that Father Claude Jaillet built the first chapel in 1867. Father Jaillet raised $700 to build the first church in 1867. He spent so much time on horseback that he became known as the “saddlebag priest of the Nueces”. In 1875, a larger church was built. The cache you are looking for is underneath a certain matching colored object. Don't be afraid to look into the nooks and crannies of things. I hope things go right for you, but even better if you LEFT with a logged in cache.
