This is our first geocache! We hope you enjoy the beautiful view of the city from where you're standing.
Bridgeland is a community in the heart of the city with a very rich history. The community gardens at the bottom of the hill are the last of their kind in Calgary. The program was established in the early 1900's as a means of benefiting less fortunate residents and improving the aesthetic appearance of the city. At its peak in 1943, there were 2,366 Club members cultivating 3,229 vacant lots across the city – a ratio of one lot for every 30 citizens.

We recommend parking at the top of the hill next to St Matthew Lutheran Church on 7th Street NE. Happy Caching!
