This is the third cache on a 3.5 mile circular (ish) walk around the village of Hanworth and Metton. Parking is available at the Memorial Hall in Hanworth, the route is described travelling north on the Weavers' Way. The trail is mainly on footpaths, with a small stretch of quiet road, traffic is not regular on these roads, however many of the footpaths can be muddy, particularly during the winter. This cache is on the Weavers' Way, a 61 mile long distance footpath, running from Cromer to Great Yarmouth, passing through a number of towns, including Aylsham, North Walsham and Stalham. From here continue down the footpath and pass through the kissing gate, please make sure you close the gate behind you as sheep sometimes graze this area.
Follow the footpath to the right (not weavers way unless you want to do the trail backwards!) Pass through another gate and follow the path until you reach a set of steps (which have turned more into a slope). Once at the top of the slope turn right where you will find the next cache. This is a micro cache, please bring your own pen and tweezers may also be needed. Thanks to norfolk trails and the Hanworth Commons Commitee for permission to place this cache.
