I just love these little school houses where my aunts and uncles went to primary school! My dad was the youngest of the family so he did not go here. There were no busses at the time, so the original idea of carpooling was created. Several neighbors took turns who owned a team and hay trailer would take turns bringing the kids to school when the weather didn't allow them to walk or it was too far. Sadly enough now it has become a dump station. Since the township wanted families to stop burning their trash a garbage system was created. Please be very respectful for the area because I believe the building is still used for elections. Please beware the live wire used to deter bears.
