X marks the spot Traditional Cache

A small cache (previously was a container in the shape of a kiss, hence X in the name). The replacement has character and only a little room for small swaps.

The cache is placed here in recognition of Hywel the Good, a medieval Welsh ruler who advocated compassion, not judging people by what they think and the recognition of women rights.

A bus stops here for a while on the corner, so if arriving in a car please park further up North Road.

With a bench close by, another further up North Road and one 0.4 mile up the road at the top N 51° 49.800 W 004° 37.131 this can be a pleasant stroll with a magnificent view at sunset. Enjoy.

The location is fine, but the cache is not wheelchair accessible.

Whitland has a Train Station 0.5 miles from the cache, just a 10 minute walk away and for a small town Whitland boasts all the usual facilities of shops, cafes etc... including what seems to be the only [ 24 hour ] free public toilet in Carmarthenshire, operated by the town council and located on Cross Street 51°49'09.2"N 4°36'54.0"W
