Belvedere Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

A set of geocaches placed in the grounds of Penrhyn Castle.

The current Penrhyn castle was built between 1820 and 1833 for George Hay Dawkins Pennant. The architect was Thomas Hopper, a well-known designer.
The castle is constructed in a neo-Norman style and has formal gardens as well as beautiful parkland.
The estate came under the care of the National Trust in 1951.

The paths on the estate are mainly tarmac or gravel, but may be muddy, especially after rain. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
The Belvedere shelter looks out over the bog garden and is a lovely place for a picnic. The Gunnera plant, sometimes called Giant Rhubarb, grows well in the wet ground here at Penrhyn Castle.
