The Umbrella Tree in East Cowes (a weeping ash) was planted in 1914 to enhance the area near the town hall. For more than a hundred years the tree has provided a focal point for the community to meet, shelter and watch the world go by.
There is plenty of parking nearby and can be done as a cache and dash, though the area can be quite muggly so stealth may be required.
