Puisqu'il n'y a pas eu de maintenance dans un laps de temps raisonnable, j'archive cette cache.

Géocache rapide au bord du canal de Pisse-Saumes...

Une cache au bord du canal, un message dans une bouteille, après la pêche ou la promenade, elle apparaît très vite, mais soyez discrets quand vous la loguez. Délicatesse exigée pour la replacer !!
Un peu de culture :
Durant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, les allemands voulurent creuser une tranchée dans l'actuel Grau de Pisse-Saumes (entre l'Etang de Thau et la Mer Méditerranée) afin d'y installer des chars. Le projet n'aboutira que partiellement, pour créer ce que l'on appelait le "Canal des Allemands". Faute d'autorisations, le canal tel qu'on le connaît aujourd'hui ne sera construit qu'en 1973.
Derrière celui-ci, le gourg de Maldormir. Le marais porte ce nom car il était, lorsque le coin était habité, impossible de trouver le sommeil en raison de l'abondance de moustiques...

A geocache at the canal's edge, a message in a bottle, after fishing or walking, it appears quickly, but be careful while putting it back !!
A bit of culture :
During the Second Wold War, germans wanted to dig a trench in the 'Grau de Pisse-Saumes' (between the Etang de Thau and the Mediterranean Sea) to install tanks. The projects wasn't finished, but the canal was nicknamed "Canal des Allemands" (German's Canal). Because of a lack of authorizations, the actuel canal was finished in 1973.
Behind this, there is the "gourg de Maldormir" (marsh of Maldormir (Maldormir is made with the French words 'Mal' and 'dormir', that means 'restless sleep')). People nicknamed the marsh like this because the land attracted the mosquitos and made sleep difficult.
