Geocache Description:

The Haggi have made it to the islands!!

Fladda is a tidal island so this must be taken into consideration when planning your trip.  There is a wee causeway which enables you to cross to Fladda during low tide.  When placing this cache we had a couple of hours for exploring during which we were able to cross dryly and safely.  Once on the other side it should only take a matter of minutes to locate.

There is absolutely no need to walk through our past the 3 whitewashed cottages on this island.  We spoke to the owners and wanted to reassure them that they were not going to be inundated with nosy hikers peeping through their windows, etc.  Please respect their privacy.

Beautiful view of Raasay and Skye.  Below in the wee bay you may also see the yair, a handbuilt stone wall used for trapping fish.

This is a 2.8km hike from the parking area at Arnish after driving along Calum's Road
