Geocache Description:

This geocache starts at the Methodist Church at Arreton on the Isle of Wight.

Arreton Methodist Church was originally known as the Arreton Bible Christian Chapel and has been at its present location for over 150 years. This church would have originally served what was then a large agricultural community, but as is the case for many of these small churches, congregations are shrinking, although it still supports a thriving Sunday School in the attached Church Hall.

The cache is not at this location.

To find the actual location solve the following clues -

How many bricks form the horizontal of the cross on the front of the church? - AB

The church was built in 186C and enlarged in 1D79

How many buttresses are on the eastern (right hand side) wall of the church? - E

How many buttresses on the front wall of the church? - F

How many white stones are inset in to the front wall below the windows? - G

The cache which is a small cylindrical container, can be found nearby at the following co-ordinates -

N 50 B(G-B).(D-C)(E-F)(D-A)

W 001 AG.(E-A-B)B(E-B+A)

Be aware, this is a busy road, so should you need to cross it PLEASE use the controlled crossing!
