Sunday 5th November 2017  ****1330 - 1430****

We all love a church micro!

Be it a traditional, a puzzle, a letterbox, a multi and even earthcaches; they come in all shapes and sizes and the full range of D/Ts so lets have a get together to celebrate 10 years of this fantastic series.

As with all meets, anyone and everyone is welcome long-term finders, new finders, old and young and everyone inbetween! There will be cachers chat, advice and puzzle help and the swapping of trackables! There is a public house down the road but there are no refreshments or bathrooms available on site. There are some public conveniences available near the parking co-ordinates across the road.

We are meeting at The Abbey Church of St Mary of Edwardstow better known as Netley Abbey which is a ruined late medieval monastery in the village of Netley near Southampton in Hampshire. The abbey was founded in 1239 as a house for Roman Catholic monks of the austere Cistercian order. Despite being a royal abbey, Netley was never rich, produced no influential scholars nor churchmen, and its nearly 300-year history was quiet. The monks were best known to their neighbours for the generous hospitality they offered to travellers on land and sea.
