Welcome to the next Epic Adventure, here in Canyonville, Hosted by FxBill! This Event is a Meet & Greet. There is also an amazing optional Challenge (Treasure Hunt) for thrill-seekers who want to go the extra mile! Everyone is invited to join us for a day of fun for all.

Challenge:
This challenge is a real life treasure hunt! There will be a total of 40 individual "Artifact Holders" on this challenge. Each cacher who chooses to become a "Holder" will need to commit to attending the Event because all "Artifacts" must be present at the Event to proceed to the next stage of the challenge. "Non-Holders" are welcome to join a "Holder" of their choice. The Challenge requires group effort and participation to complete. There is a special prize awaiting each of the 40 "Holders".
Stage 1: Become a "Holder"
Starting in August, New caches will publish that will contain 1 "Artifact" in each. Publications will be random and at anytime before or on the Event Day so keep a "New Cache Watch" on your app! The first to find will have the option of retrieving the "Artifact" from the cache becoming a "Holder". Each "Holder" may only have 1 "Artifact" in their possession at any time. The "Holder" does have the option of trading it, if they find a cache containing another "Artifact". If you choose Not to become a "Holder" and find "Artifacts", simply leave them in the cache for the next cacher to find.
Stage 2: Assembly
At 3pm on the Event Day, All "Holders" will have to work together to unite all of their "Artifacts" in order to proceed to the next step.
Stage 3: Decipher
Upon the completion of Stage 2, the results must now be deciphered to devise a plan of attack.
Stage 4: The Hunt
Upon completion of Stage 3, it is now time to load up and head out to the wild for the Prize! Who has figured it out? Who will get there first? Who will get to log the First To Find? Let the army of hunters begin!
Stage 5: Meet & Greet
Now that the Challenge is complete, we will all head back for the Meet & Greet to relax and trade tales of the adventures attending Mountain Madness X.
Rules for "Holders":
You must have a geocaching profile
You must attend the Event
You must bring your "Artifact" to the Event
You must log your Unique "Artifact" Code to the Event Page upon retrieving it (Code Only, No Spoilers!)
You may only possess 1 "Artifact" at any time
You can trade your "Artifact" if another one is found but you must log your trade to the Event page with the codes involved.
There will be information and printouts available at the optional check-in. Bring swag and tradable items if you'd like to participate in the raffle. There will also be a table for Trackables.
