This cache is located ON the pedestrian bridge that spans I-696 and is NOT on the freeway.
DO NOT STOP ON I-696 TO TRY TO RETRIEVE IT.
THIS IS ILLEGAL AND VERY MUCH A BAD IDEA.
Every day the freeway below this spot is usually jammed up with commuters making their way elsewhere. In the morning and in the evening, it can even be a heavier volume of traffic.
Even with that, this spot can seem serene above the jams that folks are held within down below
**The Cache**
The best access for this is from the walkway approaches from either East or West of the Pedestrian Bridge that crosses-over I-696.
The ramps to the pedestrian bridge are a bit challenging for those who may have trouble climbing an incline or walking steep hills, including those with limited mobility such as a wheelchair. This will also apply to your trip back down to ground-level from the bridge, because of the incline. It will also be a challenge for anyone during inclement weather (Snow, Rain, High-Winds, etc).
This cache location will provide excellent views of the traffic below no matter time of day or night. You may wish to bring your camera along for some really cool Night Photography, maybe even utilizing Time-Lapse, if you can. Binoculars can always be a good choice as well.
