This cache is placed on the northern slopes of Kit Hill Country Park. A park which is part of the Tamar Area of Natural Beauty and for its mining history a World heritage site. Given to the people of Cornwall by the Duchy of Cornwall in 1985 to celebrate the birth of Prince William. Enjoy this place and its views as you search for this cache.
You will certainly learn about the Flora and Faune of kit hill with this cache.
The challenge of this cache is finding your way to it. The bracken and brambles on this side of the hill are certainly flourishing but there is a way through to GZ, you just have to find it. If you take the direct route you will find it very very hard work trying to trek through the bracken and brambles.
BE AWARE - there are ADDERS on Kit Hill and they are at their most dangerous April to July when they are sluggish.
Be careful in long grass, under vegetation & poking around in holes.
It is not advisable to be wearing shorts when attempting this one.
The fence line does have some strands of barb wire in it so be carefull but the top strand of wire is ordinary wire.
Nearest car park is on the B3257 but can get to GZ along tracks from any of the car parks on the hill.
