Geocache Description:

This is another in our series of caches places at permitted Stretch Points within the Chobe National Park.  Park fees are payable to enter the park.

This cache is a short way down the valley from the Chobe River.  The place where the valley and the river meet is one of the most regular drinking spots for the many elephants that can be found in the Chobe National Park, especially in the afternoons.  Other animals use this same spot to drink from and so the valley is a highway for the wildlife to access the river.  If you head further away from the Chobe River along the valley you will come to one of the solar assisted pumped waterholes - another good place to find thirsty animals.
