Geocache Description:

Kleppesjøen is a secluded bay protected by a large manmade breakwater/pier. Every year in the middle of August the event "Hamnedagane" is arranged. This cache is placed on August 19th 2017 at 11 am when the third annual Hamnedagane is opened.

When Hamnedagane is over this place still has a lot to offer the rest of the year. Here is an old restored boathouse, the big "Kleppehengjo" used to dry yarns and if you walk across the breakwater you will see a lot of boats in the marina and a lot of campervans (if it is a weekend) at Kleppholmen. Here you can also fill your oxygen tanks for diving.
