Whiskey River was a hit for Willie Nelson in 1973. It wasn't an original song for him, but considered to be one of his signature songs.
This area can be accessed from parking on McLeans Island Road and walking to them all, or driving up Haul Road to park closer to the river. If using Haul Road be aware of gate closing times, and that the roads are not sealed. BYOP. Please note this area can get a little boggy after rain.
