Moon River was released in 1961 by Henry Mancini. It was originally going to be called 'Blue River' but that title has been already used by another songwriter.
This area can be accessed from parking on McLeans Island Road and walking to them all, or driving up Haul Road to park closer to the Waimakariri River. If using Haul Road be aware of gate closing times, and that the roads are not sealed. BYOP. Please note this area can get a little boggy after rain.
