Geocache Description:

Terre Noire, (black earth) must refer to the rocks along the shore, as that seems to be the only black earth around.

This is a great look off, giving a view south towards Inverness with Sea Wolfe Island (aka Margaree Island) offshore, and north towards the highlands and Cheticamp. It is a great spot to watch the ocean when mother nature is unsettled, big waves crash hard against the rocky shore. Hope you enjoy the view. Please note winter parking maybe limited.
