Geocache Description:

We love to find caches with a little personality, and so we hope you enjoy the Critter Crawl series!

There was a little grasshopper
That was always on the jump;
And because he never looked ahead,
He was always getting a bump.

Huddlety, dumpty, dumpty, dump!
Watch out, or you will get a bump;
Sure as the grass grows around the stump
Be careful, my sweet Sugar Lump.

This rhyme can be found in Negro Folk Rhymes, Wise and Otherwise, with a Study by Thomas W. Talley of Fisk University (1922).

Inspiration: This cache was inspired by a cache by Granpa Noodle and made with swag we traded for in one of his caches.

Parking note: There is room to park on pavement. During the dry summer months, please don't park over the grass, especially with your engine running. This can be a fire hazard. Thank you!

Just traveling through the area on I-5? This is a great scenic route to get you off the freeway for a few minutes. Once you start the Critter Crawl, continue down Cloverdale Rd. to get back on the freeway. If you're travelling south, you'll come to the freeway exit in Creswell. If you're traveling north, Cloverdale will end at Hwy 58. Turn left to return to I-5. Happy travels!
