Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed in a village which has a big history with aviation - sounds odd. In 1971, Cublington was proposed as London's next airport for its "ideal" location though it was thankfully objected and was even called an "environmental disaster" if it was to be made.

This cache has been placed in a village which has a big history with aviation - sounds odd. In 1971, Cublington was proposed as London's next airport for its "ideal" location though it was thankfully objected and was even called an "environmental disaster" if it was to be made.

The cache:

1) The co-ordinates bring you to the Crossroads bus stop from Leighton Buzzard - Aylesbury. Look at the time at which the 165 bus will leave Leighton  Buzzard on Monday - Friday at the earliest possible time. It will be 7:X, with X resembling a 2 digit number of the minuets. Divide this number by 5 and you will have digit B for the co-ordinates.

X/5= B

2) Now, use the next co-ordinates provided to take you to the entrance of The Walled Gardens Cottages along Wing Road - cars can drive very fast on this road (way over the limit of 30) so be careful especially with children. You will need to look at the sign for details. A = Number of Cottages (look at sign) For C and D you will need to know how to solve simultaneous equations, once learnt you can see haw useful these are in the "real" world. Look on BBC bite size for quick and easy help if you are unsure of it - it's not very hard.

Use the image in the cache pictures section to see the equation.
