Geocache Description:

This Cache is placed inside the Shongweni Nature Reserve

The Aim of the Cache is to get you to step outside of your comfort zone just a little.

Hiking, Climbing, Abseiling, Taking Selfies, climbing up and down a chain ladder and finding a cache are all things you will be doing on this Treasure-Hunt.

Please note that this is a popular climbing area Known as The Magnetic Wall, so clambering Muggels will find this cache if strict caution is not taken.

To Get to the cache:

Park at the Given Coordinates and make your way to the Start of the trail (Trail head).

Follow the path down a semi steep slope, once you reach the next trail head, be on the lookout for a path that splits left (towards the next trail head)

At the Trail head named the Fork, you should choose to go straight down, or towards the right as the path that splits to the left will end at the top of the crags, which will prove harder to navigate.

From here it's smooth sailing towards the Bottom of the Ladder or GZ. You will be passing some popular climbs like " Happy Smiling Engineers", "The Dragon Lady" & "Mr. Patato Head".

Once you make it to the top of the Ladder you will find 2 or more prominent abseil points, it is up to you to determine where the cache has been hidden.

Please note that the area has had violent incidences in the past, here are a few safety tips:

Stay in larger groups, weekends are the best time for these caches and do not carry valuables.
