A virtual history cache in a popular trading post town in the Navajo Nation.
In 1911, a sway-back, one-track suspension bridge was erected over a gorge of the Little Colorado on the edge of Navajo and Hopi country. Hubert and C.D. Richardson built a small trading post there in 1916.
We've been driving a Salt Lake to Phoenix route for 3 years now and there are only a few stops to make between Flagstaff and Page. This one's worthwhile. To get credit for the cache, email us the ORIGINAL name of the town (not the current one which is named after one of Arizona's first senators). The name of the cache is derived from one of the commissioners of the original structure.
