Park and Search at a once popular locale during Labor Day weekend
Port Alberni's annual Salmon Festival has traditionally taken place here at Clutesi Haven Marina, home to the Alberni Valley Tyee Club—the first group to run the annual fishing derby. This year marked the 46th annual fishing derby but for the first time, it was relocated to another site...RIP to this site and the many memories it has provided; you may remember standing here at GZ waiting in line for the world famous Kiwanis salmon barbeque dinner. Plenty of parking to grab this cache but stealth, patience and TOTT will be required...it is not necessary to move, disrupt or dislodge anything to retrieve this cache....Have fun!
