This site was once the location of the local Rodeo Grounds. The area is now used by cross-country skiers, cyclists and hikers. A summer Music Festival also used to be held in the large open area. You can use the parking lot at the Golf Clubhouse, and walk the final km on a well gravelled road, or drive approximately 1 km to the gate and park there - except in winter when skis are needed for the final km. There is a hill with a great view along the way! The cache will be available all year long. NOTE: If the main gate to the Mackenzie Golf Club is locked, you will have to park and walk about an extra 1/2 km. Snow could be deep in the winter, but the cache is accessible on skis and on foot. The purpose of the gates is to prevent access to motorized vehicles, and does not denote private property!
