Geocache Description:

This cache is located near Gold Creek in a quiet, pretty neighborhood park on the west side of Pleasanton.

The small creek wandering through this park got its name after the discovery of a few flakes of gold in the creek during the late 1800s. The park is named after one of the early settlers in the area.

To find the cache, a small plastic camo'd container -- peanut butter jar - follow the pathway which circles the park. The cache contains several small objects, a log, and a pencil.

The cache is hidden under a canopy of trees so the coordinates may be slightly off.

Note: New log pamphlet has been placed in cache 11/11/02.
