This cache is located in a spot that saw history in the making.
The Richard Cayer Park is the pride of the community of Vassar, Manitoba. It is named after Manitoba baseball hall-of-famer Richard Cayer who dedicated his life to baseball and his community. This cache is represented by a baseball player monument to honour this part of Vassar's history. The park features three baseball diamonds, the region’s only outdoor heated pool, play structure, pickleball court, covered picnic shelter and a campground. After visiting once, you may want to plan your next trip out for one of Vassar's community baseball tournaments.
