Ready to go way out there? This cache is tucked away beside a historical site that's completely hidden from everyday eyes.
Ready to go way out there? You may question your coordinates several times as you make your way from one gravel road to the next, but when you get to the end, you'll find a secluded and peaceful cache. The location was chosen right next to the historic St. Nicholas cemetery. Years ago, Ukrainian settlers gathered at this church site to find peace and solace in the hard times. The cache is an elk monument to signify the home of one of only 10 known elk populations left in Manitoba. Please note: This cache is located at the end of a three-quarter-mile-long dirt road that has a few noticeable potholes. In very wet conditions, it may be difficult to drive the last quarter-mile to this cache due to the swampy surroundings. Bring your walking shoes!
