The debut of my new event series: "Definitely Not 1/1" - a series aimed at hosting events in locations a bit more remote, for adventurous atendees. The 1/1, of course, refers to the Difficulty and Terrain rating.
The first event will ease us into the swing of things. It is held at one of my favourite places to explore - the abandoned train line between Woodham Ferrers and Cold Norton. There are many caches in the area, and a lot of them are accessible via PRoW from the event location.
Parking is not necessarily straight forward (depending on how many people attend). I have given a few waypoints to help with parking. Some locations will involve a bit of a walk to the event (but that's all in the spirit of things isn't it?) Parking locations are of course first come, first serve.
Yes, wheelchair access is plausible, but you may need some help getting up and down the path.
Where? Underneath the arches! The location is not in the middle of the road.
When? Sunday 10th September 2017 at 12pm to 12:30pm
The usual photograph will take place between 20 and 25 past. Train-related attire is encouraged!
