The castle was built 1550. From the start the castle had three floors but in the beginning of 1600 century the castle burnt down. They started to built a new castle 1611 but now with only two floors. From 1650-1700 the castle was uninhabited and the castle started to fall into ruin. In year 1706 the castle burnt out a second time and was never rebuilt. For over 100 years the ruin was like a overgrown hill until it was dig up.
If you think it´s to far to swim to the island ;) you can borrow, for free, a rowing-boat.
There are two boats, placed here by Borås Turism. Just be sure to anchor the boat carefully when you have borrowed it. You find the boats on the shore at coordinates:

The cache is hidden in the OPEN room furtest in.
You do not need to go into a dark room, you do not need to climb. If you see a kind of window a couple meters up in the inner room you are near. Well hidden I think.
It´s a middlesized foodcontainer put inside a black plastic bag.
