DAS TÜRMLE...
...oder auch das Bleichürmle, ist wohl eines der am meisten fotografierten Gebäude in Blaubeuren. Seine Nähe zum Blaubeurer Kloster und zum weltberühmten Blautopf tut dafür sein übriges. Das Bleichtürmle war einst ein Eckturm der Klosterbefestigung und diente später zur Überwachung der angrenzenden Bleichwiese. Auf dieser wurden frisch gebleichte Tücher zum trocknen ausgelegt. Viele Touristen besuchen Jahr für Jahr das schöne Blaubeuren, mit seinen alten Fachwerkhäusern, dem Kloster und natürlich dem Blautopf.
Heute dient der schöne Fachwerkturm dem Blaubeurer Motorradclub "MC BLAURÄDLE" als Clubheim. Jeden Mittwoch ab 20 Uhr und jeden 3.Samstag im Monat ebenfalls ab 20 Uhr, sind die Biker anwesend. Dann hat das Türmle und im Sommer auch der Türmlesgarten geöffnet und heißt Jeden willkommen. Keine Angst vor den Rockern, die sind sehr freundlich und helfen auch gerne weiter wenn man den Weg zum Blautopf nicht findet oder den Turm einmal von innen sehen möchte. Ein schönes Plätzchen für einen schön gepflegten Cache. Parkplätze gibt es rund ums Türmle genügend. Achtung: Viele Touristen = viele Muggels !(die Biker des MC Blaurädle sind keine Muggels !)
The Little Tower.. ...or the "Bleachtower", is probably one of the most photographed buildings in Blaubeuren. In the neighborhood to the Blaubeurer monastery and to the world-famous "Blautopf" it is really nice to visit. The little Tower was once a corner-tower of the monastery fortification and served later to supervise the adjacent bleaching meadow. On this meadow, freshly bleached towels were layed out for drying. Many tourists visit the beautiful Blaubeuren year after year, with its old timbered houses, the monastery and,of course, the "Blautopf". Today the Little Tower works for the Blaubeurer motorcycleclub "MC BLAURÄDLE" as a clubhouse. Every wednesday from 8pm, and every 3rd saturday of the month also from 8pm, the bikers are present. Then the door opens and in the summer also the towergarden opens and welcomes everyone. Do not be afraid of the rockers, they are very friendly and help gladly if you do not find the way to the "Blautopf" or if you want to see the Little Tower from the inside. A nice place for a beautiful maintained Cache. There are enough parking spots around the Tower. Attention: Many tourists = many Muggels ! (The biker of MC Baurädle are no Muggels !)
