安平區漁光島早期稱為「三鯤鯓」，因台江內海逐漸淤積而形成，早期民眾可以從觀夕平台附近出入社區，近幾年挖開舊港道後，只能經由漁光大橋出入，成為一座「離島」，因居民夜間駕船出海捕魚時，海上每艘漁船都有一盞燈，漁光點點，因此被稱為「漁光島」。
漁光公園為漁光島上一個小型社區公園，園中林蔭遮蔽還有一些兒童遊戲器材和運動設施，午後常見老人、小孩在此休憩乘涼。
The Yuguang Island its old name was 「三鯤鯓」,it's located on western edge of Tainan City.
It is a small park in this area. There have some children's play equipment and sports equipment. There also have a pavilion, trees and grassland; you can take a rest in there. Enjoy it.
