This is a great trail. When I was out hiking today to place this cache, I ran into a number of folks who were performing trail maintenance. They said they cleared it all the way to the summit (I did not go that far today...).
This cache is on the Kapalama Ridge trail. I think it is an underrated trail. Great views along the trail. I like this ridge hike as it tends to not be very busy. Be careful on your return hike not to end up at Kamehameha Schools. I've heard the guards will stop you and question you if you end up there. This series is a nod to the 15th anniversary of one of the greatest games of all time.
There is a degree of slippery with this cache. Be careful especially if the ground is a bit wet.
