Geocache Description:

Welcome to Severn Beach, once a popular holiday destination! Get in the holiday mood. This geocache is to celebrate the heritage of the Lower Severn Vale Levels.

Walk down the beach path towards Avonmouth or the more sheltered grass path below. In a clear watertight box.

Great for everyone to have fun especially families; you'll find something to wear and take photos, souvenirs of "Aloha beach" to take or swap. The story of Bristol's Riverside Resort on the Severn is revealed with an info sheet and song. Imagine how this area was once a hub for holiday makers and now enjoy the landscape of big skies and the tides of the Severn Estuary. Discover more about the former busy family holiday spot.

From this spot you can see turbines so we've included a mini one for your mini people to find the direction of the wind. There's sea creature stamps to prove you have found it!

Enjoy!
