On the 11th of November 2018 it will be 100 years since the end of the first world war, this cache is to commemorate and remember those that lost their lives in that war and the second world war too. R.I.P
Higher Cemetery at Heavitree was opened in 1866. The cemetery has been expanded on at least three occasions since then. Over 70,000 people are buried in the cemetery and there are currently over 12,000 memorials. Please treat the area with the utter respect it deserves and spare a few minutes of your hectic life and remember these unfortunate souls, wherever you are from and wherever they are from. War is cruel.....to everyone, civilians and military personnel.

Please spare a moment while doing this cache, to remember these people, young and old who lost their lives in these times of war.
Please take note;
Dear Terry, I can’t see that there would be any problem with this as long as they respect the area and other visitors to the cemetery.
