I guess it is somewhat obligatory to compose a narrative about the location of one's virtual cache placement offering some history or explaining the significance of the location. Frankly I'm not all about copying and pasting something from Wikipedia into this cache page. Buffalo City Hall History
Now that your done with the history lesson let's get on to the business of logging this virtual cache. To successfully complete this cache you'll be required to visit the Buffalo City Hall Observation Deck located on the 28th floor of City Hall. I suppose I should mention that the elevators only ascend to the 25th floor so to reach the Observation Deck a three story stair climb is required. Once you have reached the observation area take in the spectacular views of Buffalo, Canada, Lake Erie, Niagara Falls and surrounding areas. Actually that part is not officially required to log the cache but I figured that if you made the trip up you should at least look around a little bit.
The requirements to log the cache are simply post the traditional selfie of you or your group with some scenery in the background with your found it log. To prove that you are not a photoshop wizard and have actually visited the Observation Deck you will also be required to forward me a private message answering the following question:
What building is identified in "Windows on Buffalo Boulevards and Black Rock" photograph as #3?
I will delete posted logs with great vengeance and furious anger of those who attempt to poison and destroy my cache page by not fulfilling the aforementioned requirements.
Here is some other important stuff you'll probably need to know; Posted hours for the City Hall Observation Deck are Monday thru Friday 8:30 to 4:00 PM. It is closed on Saturday, Sundays and holidays. Here's a link affirming what I just wrote...
Buffalo City Hall Observation Deck Hours
Now for the icing on the cake... a complete tour of Buffalo's City Hall including the Observation Deck is offered Monday through Friday at Noon beginning at the the main lobby information kiosk. For extra credit take the tour and include a photo of the skylight located in the City Council chambers with your log. See the link for more tour information.
