Wupatki, which means "Tall House" in the Hopi language, is a multistory Sinagua pueblo dwelling comprising over 100 rooms and a community room and ball court, making it the largest building for nearly 50 miles. Nearby secondary structures have also been uncovered, including two kiva-like structures. Incredible views and a glimpse into the distant past awaits you... To log this cache, take a picture of yourself or your team peeking through the "key-shaped" doorway in the north entrance sign to Wupatki National Monument and post it with your log. If you are alone, just do the best you can and be creative.
There is a fee to enter the monument, but not here. Take time to read the signs at the entrance and decide if you would like to drive the loop (it comes out on the summit as you enter Flagstaff). The key-shaped opening is similar to the doorways into Kivas, which are ceremonial buildings of the ancient inhabitants of this region. Congrats to RedRum13 for FTF! Great picture!
