I was awarded this special Virtual Cache for all the generous favorite points I've received on my Twilight themed Challenge caches. I wanted to place it somewhere special and so decided that Wildcat Mountain was it. I'd wanted to visit this mountain years ago before the traditional cache was disqualified and had to be removed from the Wilderness Area. So I thought this would be a great opportunity to use my Virtual Cache to bring geocachers to this beautiful area again.
To claim this cache, you'll have to make the estimated two mile hike up from the Douglas Trail head parking area on road NF-105. You must then send me an email with the answer/answers to the below questions to the best of your knowledge. To make it a little more challenging, some of the below questions may have more than one answer. Also, if you can, post a photo. I hope you enjoy this area as much as I do. Have a great Hike!!
What snow covered mountain peaks can you see from here?
a. Mt Hood
b. Mt Jefferson
c. Mt Vesuvius
d. Who the heck knows. I'm not from here. I have no idea what these mountains are named. I just came here to find GC12 and GC17 and decided to swing by and grab this one too.
e. The clouds/smoke/fog/rain is so thick that I can't see my hand in front of my face let alone a mountain.
What signs of man can you find near this location?

c. An Outhouse toilet pit filled in with rocks

e. What am I, an archaeologist? I haven't found anything man made.
