Geocache Description:

In October of 1859, Adele Joseph Brise, a young Catholic Belgian woman who had immigrated to the Green Bay peninsula with her family, reported receiving a mission from the Virgin Mary, the Holy Mother of God, through a series of apparitions.

A number of miraculous events and healings were manifested during and after her life in the tiny rural community of Champion where she pursued this mission. A chapel was built at the site and, since 1861, thousands have made a pilgrimage to the shrine located where the apparitions appeared. In 2010 the Catholic Church officially recognized the apparitions that occurred on the site of the Lady of Good Help as the first in the United States.

To claim the find for this virtual there are two requirements. Please post a photo of requirement #1 in your log and email me your answer to requirement #2. It should be added, that this is a solemn and spiritual place for the visitors to the shrine…be respectful of them and your surroundings.

Requirement #1: THE POSTED COORDINATES WILL BRING YOU TO THE EDGE OF THE PARKING LOT AND THE GROTTO OF ST. JOSEPH. YOUR FIRST REQUIREMENT IS TO POST A PHOTO OF YOURSELF OR YOUR GPS/CELL PHONE (FACES NOT REQUIRED) IN FRONT OF THE STATUES AT THE GROTTO.

Requirement #2: WITH THE ADDITIONAL COORDINATES, FIND THE GRAVESITE OF ADELE JOSEPH BRISE. MESSAGE ME WITH THE NAME ON THE GRAVESTONE TO THE LEFT OF HERS (AS YOU FACE IT). DO NOT POST YOUR ANSWER OR A PHOTO IN YOUR LOG! THIS WOULD RESULT IN YOUR FIND BEING DELETED.
