When our daughter was younger she and Mrs. Kamping Kouple were involved with the Girl Guides. Starting with Sparks then Brownies and ending with Guides. One of the great things that their branch did, that you can still see today, was planting a tree on the waterfront in downtown Peachland. This included setting a plaque in the grass at the foot of the tree. The tree has grown a great deal since the day it was planted and the plaque is still there. Ground zero for this Virtual Cache.
To log your find for this cache -
1. You will have to e-mail us the year the tree and plaque were donated.
2. Please log a photo of the surrounding area with your GPS in the photo.
We encourage you to spend some time in Peachland take in the sites and go for a walk in the area.
