The cache is 1 mile from the parking area, which now cost $12 (was $3 when hidden), with a 430 foot elevation gain.
Stay on main trails. Fantastic coastal views from the cache site. This scenic overlook gets a lot of traffic so please rehide the same.
Update 6/5/13: Cache didn't survive the Springs Fire, but has been replaced to remain a part of the Santa Monica Mountains History Adventure.
