Geocache Description:

You are visiting Lovelandtown Point Pleasant.

You are visiting Lovelandtown, Point Pleasant, the first settlement at the Head of Barnegat Bay. The first home of record was built in 1817.

Here we have public fishing docks and right of way around the beautiful condominiums.  This view is the beginning of the Point Pleasant Canal which was constructed in the early 1920's.  It is part of the Inland Waterway.

The cache is a small camouflaged container which contains some seaglass and seashells, a log and a pencil.
