Geocache Description:

To promote remembrance of those who settled this area and may be buried here. A community geocacher wanted to have more 'Bengough area' caches, so this one is placed at the entry of this cemetery. Please take care to respect gravesites.

Bengough was named after John Bengough, a cartoonist for The Mail, a Toronto newspaper. John was a friend of the chief railway surveyor's father.  By 1912 Bengough became organized as a village. In the fall of 1918, as the war was nearly at an end, the Spanish Flu struck the village, and several who died are buried here.

The cache could be considered a park and grab, near the entrance to the cemetery. You are looking for a camoed bison tube with log. Bring your own writing tool.
